Donating to JRS
Thank you so much for considering making a contribution to JRS, whether in terms of a monetary donation or your time. Your kind gesture helps us to sustain key services and programmes which support refugees to build hopeful futures in places of safety, where they are free from danger and persecution.
Monetary donations make it possible for us to continue providing key services and support which our clients have come to rely on, allowing us to respond to urgent needs effectively, and with dignity. Donated funds may potentially be channeled in the following ways:
Make an unrestricted monetary donation
These are always welcome as they allows us to allocate funds where the need is greatest. You can donate directly into our account by filling in the form below.
Unrestricted financial support is directed to:
- Our services – JRS provides much needed services to migrants and asylum seekers, which are not available from other sources and which are chronically under-funded. The services include: information, legal services, psychosocial support and support with medical care.
- Our Hardship Fund – through which we provide emergency support to families and individuals who are struggling to meet their basic needs (see below)

Material donations
From time to time, JRS may issue calls for the donation of physical items in good condition, based on emerging needs (e.g. warm blankets which may be needed in the colder months).
Unfortunately, storage space within our offices is minimal, and we are unable to sustain an ongoing dissemination of regular donations of physical items. Should there be specific items you may wish to donate, please do get in touch regardless. If we are not in a position to receive them, there are a number of other NGOs we liaise with who collect items more frequently, and who we work closely with in terms of client referrals.
We also gladly appreciate monetary donations via Bank transfer and cheques. Please click on the relevant item in this drop-down list for more information on these options.
