On Friday, 11th September, we invite you to gather with us at St Aloysius College, B’Kara, for our annual fundraising celebration, Under the Stars. Doors open at 7pm.

This event is our yearly event celebrating community, an effort to raise funds for our cause, and an opportunity to meet friends and supporters of JRS Malta. Like the years before, we will have live music, delicious food, and a raffle packed with fantastic prizes.

It’s a chance to share laughter, enjoy good company, and contribute to a noble cause. Every ticket sold goes directly toward supporting our mission to Accompany, Serve and Defend refugees in Malta.

As we publish on our socials and annual reports – JRS Malta helps hundreds of individuals navigate their way seeking protection in Malta. We reached more than 500 people though our various services last year, and almost 600 people through our outreach and advocacy. Every day our offices welcomes individuals seeking legal or psychosocial assistance. Fundraising events like this one, support us in continuing our mission, as we have done for many years, since the foundation of JRS Malta in 1993.

With your €30 donation ticket, you’ll get freshly prepared food, a complimentary drink, and a raffle ticket for the chance to win prizes generously donated by local businesses.

The evening’s menu will be prepared by the talented team behind Olive House, a Lebanese Fusion restaurant in Ta’ Xbiex. Every year, we try to link the evening’s cuisine to a cause that deserves greater attention, particularly one that relates to the people we serve. This year, we have chosen to focus on the Middle East – hence our choice to go with Olive House.

And if you love surprises – our raffle prizes this year are bigger than ever!

Whether you come with friends, family, or colleagues, Under the Stars promises a night where entertainment meets solidarity. By joining us, you’ll not only enjoy a memorable evening but also help ensure that refugees in Malta find the support, dignity, and hope they deserve.

Don’t miss it – spaces are limited!  Register here.
